Noted for an abundance of walleyes, northerns, bass, and panfish, this park is located on the north end of the Lake. Made up of a chain of five lakes that extend from Alexandria north to the park, pristine Lake Carlos is deep and clean.
Offering year round outdoor activities, visitors enjoy such diversions such as fishing, boating, hiking trails throughout the State Park, as well as cross country ski trails.
Park permits: $25 annual, $18 second vehicle, $12 handicapped; $5 daily, $3 daily group.
The Park is open year round. Memorial Day-Labor Day 8am-10pm; limited hours remainder of year.
Lake Carlos State Park is offers accessibility to the disabled and Lake Carlos State Park can accommodate groups of 45 or more.
